I'm Tired

Exhausted.  Running on empty.  Don't know why.  I just want to get on a plane and go somewhere for a good week, week and a half.  But I can't.  So, in the words of my BFF "buck up cowgirl, the ride's just started."

Turquoise Hangers

These coat hangers/organizers/jewelry hangers/whatever-you-want-to-use-them-for would match my new "Keep Calm and Carry On" wall hanging perfectly.  (Just remembered I never posted a pic)

No Matter How Long The Winter, Spring Is Sure To Follow

Every year when spring comes I wonder how I made it through winter.  I hate cold weather, it gets me down and keeps me inside.  But then spring comes and life seems so much sweeter.  I always say I'm going to move to where it's warm all the time, but then I guess I wouldn't appreciate it. 

Here's Marns and me, with our lilac bush that smells gorgeous.  It's her first spring and I'm letting her spend as much time as possible outside.  I think it helps her mood, too ;)

Easter Sunday

Easter is probably my favorite holiday.  I like the time of year, I like the pretty outfits, I like watching kids hunt eggs and I love the candy, think Reese's eggs!  But the older I get, the more I realize what an awesome day this really is.  The day Jesus rose from the grave.  The fact that he died on a cross for me, for you, for everyone is beyond my comprehension.  What He went through so that I may be freed from sin and have an eternal life astonishes me.  It's amazing.  I can't even find words to explain.  But I feel it in my heart and that's what matters most.

We had a wonderful church service this morning and I had a great day with my family.  The weather was perfect and a nice change from the past few years, rainy or cold.  It's a perfect start to a hectic week.  I'm a blessed girl.  I have such a peaceful feeling on this Easter evening, I hope you do, too.  Happy Easter!
